Magical Seattle

AJ’s favorite stories are always the ones packed with love, longing, and at least a little magic. She revels in hard decisions, the ache of the bittersweet, and the complexity of morally gray choices. But at the end of the day, she also craves laughter and a happy ending.

Magical Seattle is a contemporary series of interconnected, stand-alone stories set in Seattle, each with its own light touch of magic or fantasy. The first two books debut Summer 2025. They can be read in any order.

The first book in the series, Always Never Meant to Be: A Love Story, is an, uplifting, heart-healing tale of Fate, Destiny, and meant-to-be lovers who are as inevitable as they are impossible. It’s not a Romance, but it is a funny, bittersweet, yet uplifting love story about what happens when the right person comes into your life at exactly the right moment, even if it’s not meant to last.

Always Never Meant To Be: A Love Story is available now on Amazon in paperback, eBook, and Kindle Unlimited. Order it here. It can also be found locally in Seattle at Third Place Books, Lake Forest Park and We Be Book’n Bookstore and Cafe in Monroe.

Always Never Meant To Be: A Love Story

“There’s a tiny, but infinite world that is all theirs. A moment in time, brief but everlasting, just for them. Their eternal tether, which has connected them for longer than either of them knew, has tugged them back together and intertwined them so tightly as to leave no air between them. In this world, in this moment, they are only each other’s.”

The God in 3B, the second book in the series, is a cozy fantasy romcom about a sexy divorcee and a hot god who become neighbors in an otherwise unoccupied building. It is available on Amazon and can be ordered here. (Also available in Kindle Unlimited.) It will also be available in the same local bookshops very soon!

The God in 3B…

“Being liked ‘just the way she is’ as a neighbor is a pretty low bar to clear. But much as she’s tried to resist the pull of that perfectly symmetrical, straight-nosed, cut-glass jawline of a man, she has finally, reluctantly, come to terms with the fact that she would very much like to clear a slightly higher bar with him. And she’d like to clear that bar tonight if possible.

As Jessa would say, it’s time to get bubbling. Maybe not a full boil. Not tonight. But at least a simmer? She could definitely do with a nice, low-heat simmer. Then again, she probably wouldn’t say no to a hard boil either.”
